I went to try on dresses here last week and it was absolutely TERRIBLE. I told the woman the kind of dress I was going for and my budget was up to 2000 and she came back with some of the ugliest dresses I have ever seen in my life. Didn't look anything like what I tried to explain to her. So she put them on me and of course I didn't like them! HORRIBLE! I had complete strangers helping me do up my dress because there was no one around. I had an online profile with a variety of dresses I liked that fit my budget, and conveniently all of them were "unavailable". They gave me dresses that were at the very top of my budget (before taxes or belts) and they treated me like I was not worth their time. They may have some cute dresses, but what condition they come in isn't so cute when you pay almost a thousand dollars for a dress. And the "manager" was the absolute worst.
A friend purchased her dress here shortly after the store opened last summer. That experience was good, shared with her mom and sister. Dress came in early, and first fitting was in April. Dress was ordered 2 sizes too large, and then she was sold undergarments that were also 1 and 2 sizes too big. Of course they are final sale. Her dress was supposed to be ready to take home on Friday, July 10, when she would be going to her family in Quebec. No one suggested she check her dress, or try it on. We did, and good thing. Thanks for all the help, really nice and easy alterations appointment. The ladies getting alterations next to us were simply awful. Poor seamstresses, being yelled at and sworn at for nothing. Kudos for keeping your cool, I wouldn't have! 5 ☆☆☆☆☆ all the way!!
This place is the absolute worst place to look for a wedding dress, or bridesmaids dress. In January I went in to order a bridesmaids dress for my daughter to wear in a relatives wedding. There were problems getting that dress in on time, even though we went on with more than enough time. David's Bridal had to be one of the worst companies I have ever had to work with!!!! They were the worst part of my whole wedding experience!!!!! Don't ever go there unless you would like to be disappointed!!!!!!!! They felt that because they made errors in what they told me and what they charged me that it was supposed to be my problem no you f up you should fix it and make an effort to make things better not stay the same and tell me I should be happy....... I went to David's Bridal this past Saturday for an alteration to a bridesmaid dress I ordered online. Instead of assiting me in ordering in another size or exchanging the dress I bought online with another style in the same colour in the store, I was told that they have "no affiliation" with the David's Bridal online store and couldn't help me.
