Last time I checked, businesses like this are supposed to call you to confirm an appointment. Nope. They actually lost my alteration appointment! I told the lady I watched someone write it in an appointment book and she claims "they don't have a book". Ok. I must've made that up. My cousin's wedding is Sept 26th which is cutting it pretty close now! Then the lady said she would call me back and never did! She didn't even offer to reschedule me! Worst experience ever. Dress was priced wrong and out of stock so had to order one. No big deal there, but when we received the dress half of the bead work was damaged, there was sweat stains and make up on it. We returned to the shop to be cleaned (live in Ohio) and repaired. Took several weeks to get back and then when we called to make sure was ready for pick up we were rudely told it would be ready without even being asked our name. Oh we can write about them? Alright I can write how they don't carry what you need like gloves, can I write how when I bought my dress from them they had the nerve to give it back to me (wet) oh can I tell you about David's bridal!!!!!!
Opens at 11 am but they do not unlock there doors at 11 am. If you have set hours you need to go by them. I am currently waiting outside the store with 3 other people.
The employees at this location are rude, stuck up, bossy, and disrespectful. These dresses cost too much to be treated poorly. Go to the Hurt location. They are much nicer!
What's the point of having a $99 dress sale when you are going to charge over $200 for alterations? We bought my daughter a white gown to use for Rainbow Girls, and were quoted $65 to add straps, take the dress in, and hem it. We came for our appointment and were told that the quote was wrong, and the charge would be more than we paid for the gown itself.
It's ridiculous that I've been trying to call ALL DAYt o make an appointment for my bridal party- I started at 11:14 this morning and it is now 4:30pm- and NO ONE has yet to bother to answer the phone here in MD or at the customer service line in PA...
The only good part of my experience at David's Bridal was finding my dress. But the alterations department does not know how to alter a dress right. I will be taking my dress to another alterations shop before the wedding for my final fitting. I will not be bringing it back here. I think I was over charged for my alterations as well. You have someone tell you when you pick out your dress that alterations are free and so is the dress cleaning then when you call and tell them that, they say otherwise.
