Had a great experience trying on wedding gowns for a second wedding at David's Our salesperson was helpful and accommodating and understood what I was looking for. Unfortunately the cashier who rang us out was terrible!!! Ive had nothing but good things to say about this store, unitl last friday! The lady that was helping my friend and I was wonderful. When we went to pay for the dress, the manager( im guessing) was getting mad at the lady helping us and we both thought this is absolutely uncalled for. Its one thing to talk to your staff if needed, but there is a time and a place to do so, and in front of the customers is not the place! Just left David's bridal in first colony.....I only went for swatches but ended up looking at bridesmaid and wedding dresses. When I arrive the young associate inquired about my visit, in turn she called for Associate Brittany to assisted me which was very helpful. Once I purchased my item. I loved Jessica my dress stylist great time there...however when my dress came in, I ended up getting an email that went to my spam which still don't know why it ended up there, but not one phone call to let me know. The email stated the dress must be picked up within 7 days, the email came 5 days prior.. I live almost two hours away and busy during the week. Won a door prize for this location at a Vancouver bridal show in January, and the experience has been nothing short of horrendous! It took 1 month for me to get a hold of someone to find out what I had won. Turns out I had won a $50 gift certificate, which according to the girl who called, I could pick up any time. Living in Vancouver, and only using transit, I RARELY go out to Langley. Maybe a few times a year. Take your dress somewhere else to get altered!!! The lady that took my measurements and marked my dress for alterations seemed a little out of it the day I was there. At the time, I didn't think much of it. Went back and got my dress today and it is WAY too small. They told me my breast grew TWO INCHES in ONE MONTH without me noticing. I had no change in lifestyle, medicine, food intake, activity, ect. I don't understand how that big of a growth could go unnoticed. Be careful of David's Bridal. They offered interest free for six months. My initial purchase was $900.00, I made monthly payments of $100.00 . I had a little over $200.00 to pay when they socked me with $346.46 in back finance charges and revolving charges. BE VERY CAREFUL!!! There is no such thing as 6 months of free finance charges. I can not, and will NEVER recommend anyone doing business with David's Bridal.
Terrible service in the alterations department. Would not recommend at all.
We went there for a bridesmaids dress and was there a little under an hour. After helping ourselves to dresses and trying them on, not 1 person spoke to us or asked if we needed help finding anything. Even after making eye contact with us. They looked the other way. Not only that, but dresses looked so used with dirty arm pit stains and broken zippers. I was discusted!
