The original appointment went well, of course they wanted me to buy a dress. After I bought mine the customer service dropped terribly. They ordered my MOH's dress in the wrong size then blamed her for it and was very rude. Not to mention I paid a lot of money for a bustle that didn't last an hour. Not the first time I've seen that happen from here.
The staff was very rude. We had an appointment and once the sales girl realized our budget, she wasn't very much help to us and took on a party of 10 while she was suppose to be helping us. I will never go back!
So let me get this straight...one of your associates actually had the nerve to tell a young lady yesterday she she was too fat to find a dress in your store. And that maybe someone else should be the bridesmaid? That person should be fired and you really need to teach your employees about good customer service. I will be telling people to boycott your store.
The consultant was rude when she knew I wasn't committed to buying right away. Buy local!
They were great with my wedding dress, clearly now i realize it was all for the commission... My bridesmaids got ZERO help, and now they have let someone leave with one of my bridesmaid's dresses that she paid for after i set it up to be shipped to my house! Pathetic excuse for a bridal store! But in all honesty, my wedding dress shopping did not go as well, thankfully i brought someone to put the dresses on me because they expected me to put these heavy dresses on myself!
Overall I'd say that the service at D.B. is not a "personal" experience. It's what you would expect at a chain dress shop. The woman who was helping me find dresses, was multitasking throughout the store, and that is pretty much how every employee was! They were kind of all over the place! So, if you go there, just know that you won't have an employee with you at all times... They sort of bounce around. (You will most likely have the same employee the entire time though!) However..... I ordered a bridesmaid's dress and was told I would receive a call when my dress was in. I paid for the dress in full when purchased... Allegedly, they called me once (which I didn't receive) and then mailed my dress to the bride in MA?!? I live in NJ... Why would they ever do this? The bride never received the dress! This is beyond unacceptable.
