I went to David Bridal today and it started off great until a lady name Sonja came up to because I pulled and dress off the rack but remind you this is my third time at this store and I've done this the other two time's. But before she already took the dress out of my hand. Then when I tried to explain and told her what I've done before. People at the front desk need to learn some manners. Each time I go in, they treat me like a total inconvenience and are always annoyed when an appointment isn't made. There's no sign on the door that says "no admittance without an appointment" so I'm not quite sure why they are so annoyed that I bring my bridesmaids there to spend money. I didn't want to use this company at all, but chose to keep it easy for my out of town bridesmaids.
They are only getting a 1 from me because I'm 100% happy with my wedding dress but as for my bridesmaid dresses they were all too big! One bridesmaid can pull hers up without undoing the zipper! She called them in January to deal with the problem, they said they would call her back and didn't call until this Friday...2 months later is a little late as her dress will not arrive until the weekend before the wedding and we do not live in Winnipeg so it makes it complicated to go pick it up, and she would have to pay for a brand... read more
The Rudest sales staff I have ever seen. Set up an appointment prior to arriving. Arrived early and dismissed either because my fiance and I didn't meet their dress code (dressed in flip flops and shorts) or we weren't planning on buying their $3000.00 line. It was hard to tell because it didn't seem like they cared either way! Showed them 10 dresses from their website on our phone and all we heard was we don't have that. Very bad experience....my wedding dress was returned to me damaged and mistreated after alterations.
As a wedding planner im in and out of shops almost daily ... i had never been to davids befor and was extreamly excited to check them out for my best friends wedding ... i called 2 days in advance made an apointment and told them we have a short deadline so that they would only pull dresses that we could get in time and in our colour... we go in we get basicly ignored by steph (the sales woman who was suposed to be dealing with us) but aparntly dealing with a walkin bride and some other groop of people was more importent th... read more
This is by far the worst davids bridal. The first dress I received was the wrong color. So I ended up getting a completely different dresss. When I to pick it up the ladies were very rude and acted as if they didn't want me to try on the dress. Come to find out the dress had a few rips and stains all the over. I wasn't taking a $1500 dress home that had rips and stains as if they were letting people try my new dress on. I live in a small village outside of Nome, and was visiting Anchorage over spring break. I do not get into the city often, and I was really looking forward to the opportunity to visit David's Bridal to select a dress for my wedding this summer.
