BUYER BEWARE. Do not buy from this company directly. I ordered shocks over 3 months ago and since then the only thing that’s happened is the label creation. This company will not respond to any emails or phone calls so the only way to get your money back is disputing with PayPal. This is absolutely ridiculous and I hope those that read this take this to heart and buy their parts from literally any other company. Stay away from Detroit Axle.
I ordered a part from them back in 2018. The part did not fit my vehicle. I’ve left several messages and emails, even been hung up on by customer service reps. I have a part that I cannot use and no one tried to help resolve my issue. Stay away!
This business is a joke, it appears that they are under new administration because the Guy I talked to keep saying the he was new and the guy who created/shipped the order did not worked there no more. The case in point is that I ordered a transmission for my 06 explorer from eBay. They sent me and email requesting my VIN number to verify the vehicle, but I get the wrong transmission. Going on 3 weeks and waiting on hold for 30 minutes at a time multiple times to get a human on the phone and resolve the mistake they made. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. PAY THE EXTRA MONEY AND BUY AT THE PARTS STORE. THE FRUSTRATION ISNT WORTH IT!!!!!!!!!
More than a month, countless emails and phone calls, and THREE wrong shipments of parts, and I'm headed to the local parts store to pay counter prices to gladly be done with this mess. A month. Three wrong shipments.
Ordered brakes for a customers Dodge Ram. Was supposed to be a set of front and rear brake pads and rotors. They sent two sets of rears. Its not a big deal i thought, I work in customer service myself so i emailed them. Never heard back emailed again and again and again. I ordered parts for a 2011 chevy 2500hd 2wd. Out of the ordered parts 2 didn't arrive and 1 was severely damaged when it did. I've tried multiple times with emails, through the customer service portion of the website and phone calls to get this taken care of. As of yet going on week 2 with no response! This is horrible customer service and I'm out almost 300$ in parts that didn't come and or were damaged! Not my idea of a decent experience.
