purchased the sway bar links from ebay due to the list shows 10 years warranty, first pair worn out in a year and the replacement worn out in 15 months, try to claim the warranty and gets the answer is 10 years one replacement only! be aware keep out of this brand.

I order Struts for my car and when they arrived they were wrong! When I contacted Detroit Axle I was directed to a call center and informed me they do not have the correct STRUTS for my car! I requested credit issued to my Credit Card and they informed me it would take 24-48 hours after they receive them back. I returned them and they have been at Detroit Axle for a month and I have yet to receive my Credit! Ive purchased from Detroit Axle before which is why I came back.  I ordered a Rack and Pinion that showed to be in stock, but really wasn't.  I ordered on 10/23 and called today to get a status and they said they are remanufacturing it.  What?  It showed in stock and now you are telling me they are remanufacturing it?  Not gonna lie, probably not coming back.

Detroit Axle is the worst! I can understand a problem with one part occasionally, but I've had trouble with 4 things from Detroit Axle....I got tired of doing a job over again. So after 4 bad parts, I decided I would never use them again! The last time I had a problem was with a rack and pinion...it failed after 8 months, and had them send a replacement (I had to pay for shipping!)...... I replaced it 5 months ago, and this morning the inner tie rod on the passenger side did not pass my state inspection...he was surprised... read more

Their Warranty is Not Really a Thing. They won't even respond. Try to reach management. Goes nowhere and no response returned call, email or transfer to. All reviews are at least 1 year old. I bought a 5R55S Transmission from D/A That (advertised) a 3 Year Unlimited Mileage, Warranty. The transmission tanked last week 10-21-2024. We called customer service / warranty department. (Joke) there is no such thing. They stated that "they no longer stock that transmission" offering nothing further other than "Sorry". We tried to ... read more

I am a first time and most a one and done customer. I am very disappointed with the experience I have had with Detroit Axel. I ordered a rack and pinion for my 2015 Cadillac on 10/22/24. I was told by Eva, the person I placed my order with that the part wouldn't ship out until 10/24/24 due to having to be checked over by the warehouse to make sure everything was good with the part. i don't know why they put 2 days shipping it took 4 days and they don't even answer the messages plus the material is kinda bad.. too bad that all ready pay to install the parts to return them

Ordered item on Friday before 2pm EST. Website says all orders submitted prior to 2pm ship same day. Website said delivery for Sunday. Here we are on the following Tuesday. Fedex did not even receive the package until today which will now not arrive until Thursday. So much for that free 2 day shipping. Customer service says "Oh well that's because it was ordered on Friday" "we can offer you 10% off your next order" Not going to happen. Will not be a next order. I order an 12 piece front end rebuild kit and it was missing two inner tie rod ends I already wait 5 days for kit now when I call the company to asked about them I get told that I gotta wait til Monday or Tuesday for the parts this is not fair to me I gotta go over an week with out my vehicle caused of this situation I think the company should have over night the parts to me.
