I think one star is too much for the kind of service. I got what happened to the good customer service America had some people just work for a paycheck. I think that's what's happening over here at Detroit. Axle.

I ordered some struts and some toe rods for my Toyota Highlander because I could not find them anywhere not even Toyota had them Detroit Axle stated that they had them so I ordered them for $191 on July 31st 2024 it is now August 13th 2024 and I still have not seen an email saying that they have been shipped they still say processing on their website and they claim they have the fastest free shipping no they don't I will be requesting a full refund and I will just order some not OEM parts off of Amazon do not use these peopl... read more

Ordered a drive shaft on Tuesday and when fedex said they still didn’t have it on Saturday I called. I was told we have bad news, that part is out of stock. Now I need the money they were all to happy to take right away, but I have to wait a couple of days to get a refund?! Why wasn’t I notified by email when they realized they didn’t have the part? I ordered a drive shaft for my wife’s Ford Edge. They took my money and emailed my order has shipped. After a few days FedEx still says they don’t have it.  I call on Saturday only to be told “Wait have bad news, that part isn’t in stock and I will issue your refund now.” Well that will not be in my bank until Monday so I will have to wait until I get it to order a new one. From now on I’ll go to Rock Auto thank you.  You shall never get anymore business from my 3rd bad experience here. I AM DONE!

I ordered a Left front lower control arm with ball joint. . I received 2 lower control arms for what I don't know. Called them, customer service stated he would send out the right part after they get to wrong parts back. Now my car is laid up till I get the correct part . I checked my emails today and still no tracking number for the correct part. So how long will my car be laid up ? They don't care.

Do not buy from these people again. I’m a senior living on a fixed income and my parts got stolen from my house. I gave them a lot of business. They would not replace the parts for me. I was sleeping when they delivered them. I have been sick. I hate to have to leave a bad review but they could have helped me out a little.

WORST PLACE TO ORDER PARTS! I ordered parts for my car that Detroit Axle claims to have fit my car. I received the items a week later, only to find out that they sent all the wrong parts. I paid someone to do the work on my car and was not able to fix it due to this "error". Not only did I have to pay for return shipping, but I also had to pay for packaging. After all items were returned and confirmed by the company, I cannot get a refund because within the two weeks after I sent the items back, I had my card that I sued to... read more

I really had hoped to be writing a different review but alas I have to write one. They are of no help in any way. I bought a rack and pinon from them via Amazon. I had a professional mechanic shop install the part in my car and with in 2-3 weeks the part had failed severely. Upon talking to CS via phone I was told they could warranty the part, and when they received the old one I would be send a new one.
