I ordered a drive shaft for my wife’s Ford Edge. They took my money and emailed my order has shipped. After a few days FedEx still says they don’t have it.  I call on Saturday only to be told “Wait have bad news, that part isn’t in stock and I will issue your refund now.” Well that will not be in my bank until Monday so I will have to wait until I get it to order a new one. From now on I’ll go to Rock Auto thank you.  You shall never get anymore business from my 3rd bad experience here. I AM DONE!

I ordered a Left front lower control arm with ball joint. . I received 2 lower control arms for what I don't know. Called them, customer service stated he would send out the right part after they get to wrong parts back. Now my car is laid up till I get the correct part . I checked my emails today and still no tracking number for the correct part. So how long will my car be laid up ? They don't care.

Do not buy from these people again. I’m a senior living on a fixed income and my parts got stolen from my house. I gave them a lot of business. They would not replace the parts for me. I was sleeping when they delivered them. I have been sick. I hate to have to leave a bad review but they could have helped me out a little.

WORST PLACE TO ORDER PARTS! I ordered parts for my car that Detroit Axle claims to have fit my car. I received the items a week later, only to find out that they sent all the wrong parts. I paid someone to do the work on my car and was not able to fix it due to this "error". Not only did I have to pay for return shipping, but I also had to pay for packaging. After all items were returned and confirmed by the company, I cannot get a refund because within the two weeks after I sent the items back, I had my card that I sued to... read more

I really had hoped to be writing a different review but alas I have to write one. They are of no help in any way. I bought a rack and pinon from them via Amazon. I had a professional mechanic shop install the part in my car and with in 2-3 weeks the part had failed severely. Upon talking to CS via phone I was told they could warranty the part, and when they received the old one I would be send a new one. I asked them about helping with labor as even their own CS rep said that was a very uncommon issue for a part to fail that... read more

If I could give a half star I would. I ordered a brake kit for my vehicle and the package was opened the front rotors were clearly damaged/used. I called right away and they said they had to make a claim with Fed Ex because they must have switched out the new with used ones. I talked to 3 different CS agents and not one would issue a return. So over $400 wasted and they will not do a return for me. I do not recommend this company to anyone they are shady and dishonest. I am still waiting for a call back from Justin in CS. ordered the detroit axel struts for my denali ultimate pickup - after my oem ones started to leak.. installation went about as typical - no surprises.. connect the battery back up - and off you go.. it's been about a week since installation - my opinion - for a street truck all decked out rolling on the same tires - 6 months ago - drove unbelievable.. after minor leaking struts - drove hard.. with these new replacement struts and coils - NOT SO MUCH BETTER.. softer - yes.. like it was 6 months earlier - not even close.. eit... read more

DO NOT TRUST DETROIT AXLE~!! RE: Order No: #984015 The rack I purchased failed IMMEDIATLY after install. Normally if I had installed this and it failed after some time, I could totally understand and appreciate that I would be responsible for rack install labor charges. However, the "exogen circumstance" that this unit FAILED and started LEAKING 24 hours after install by a CERTIFIED MECHANIC, in fact, the SHOP OWNER himself means one of several things: Testing was either not completed on the “Reconditioned" rack, or the seal... read more
