Bought wheel bearings on eBay for my car and all the dash lights came on. Car wouldn’t run. Parts would not work on my car. They have a warranty but will not honor. Do not recommend them for anything. Offered a store credit but if the parts don’t work what good is it. Do not recommend them. The one star was for fast shipping.
You can not leave a zero review. I am a professional technician that owns a small garage and was spending about $5000.00 a year on parts from detroit axle. Purchased an axle for my personal car, it lasted about a week before it came apart. Upon checking the axle with my old one it is shorter than the original and I paid $55 dollars for it and their warranty wants me to pay $35.00 for a replacement which is not in stock at this time and may or may not be the correct axle. Absolutely horrible service! Ordered parts in may sent them back and have been fighting to get my money back. So many false promises
DONOT purchase a transmission from these people! Or spend your hard earned money here! They will not honor their warranty unless well of course they don't have to! My brother is out thousands of dollars as they refuse to do what is right! Oh and don't let them fool you this work was done by a mechanic who said the transmission is faulty! Has followed every request they have made even asking him if he put transmission fluid in the transmission! Yes they have tried every which way to no refund $$ for their issues! HONESTLY THE PARTS ARE JUNCK, BRAKE BADS ROTORS AND WHEEL HUB LAST LESS THAN 1 YEAR WITH VERY VERY LIGHT DRIVING, THE PRODUCT OF THIS COMPANY NOT SAFE AND THEY HAVE THE WORST WARRANTY SYSTEM EVER, THEY WILL MAKE YOU PAY SHIPPING FOR THE DEFECTIVE BAD PARTS THAT NEED TO BE WARRANTY REPLACED ( NEVER HEARED OR SAW A COMPANY DO THAT FOR WARRANTY ) THEY ARE NOT HONORING THIER PRODUCT WARRANTY, VERY DISAPPOINTED
WORST COMPANY EVER!!! I received the item but immediately returned it the same day because I didn't need the part. I contacted them and they responded back saying that they will give me "in store credit" or "exchange for a different item". I WANT MY REFUND IN CASH!!! I don't want any other part or in store credit, I want cash.
I will never order anything else from them you get false information from their website about shipping. I ordered a rack and pinion at 9a.m and was expecting to receive it this week, since the shipping information says that if you order from 2p.m your order will be shipped out that same day. I noticed that I never received the tracking number the next day so I called and to find out that they don't know expectly when I will be receiving the part and the information came from the supervisor
When I have used Detroit Axle they send the wrong parts, then the customer service person argues with me about it. Apparently they have had no training in customer service.
Tried to order from Detroit axle many times keeps taking out the money then refunding it! Saying our billing address is different than shipping address!? It's not we called the credit card company and they say it is the same! Something on Detroit axles side. I called and they were not helpful!
