Dialpad is the future of business communications. Built on the Google Cloud Platform for unmatched security, reliability and scale, Dialpad’s product suite covers the full range of modern business communications needs.
Dialpad Review Pros: It's endless options and hopefully we will learn and use them all. Cons: It's a little confusing until you really use it. Overall: We were hoping to text large groups but that doesn't seem to work if the other people don't have Dialpad.
Honest to Goodness Dialpad Review Pros: Dialpad is user-friendly. Although most of the time we encounter minor issues that can be handled right away and can be resolved by troubleshooting alone. Cons: As a System Admin, I am the only one allowed to pull out call recordings. Is there a way that we can locate a certain recording just by name and number of the caller?
Software Killed the Telephone Call Pros: Dialpad offers a versatile calling platform with a rich feature set that covers all of a user's most common needs. Do you want to take calls through your computer? Done. Through your smartphone? No problem. Both? Yes, indeed. Cons: Some team members simply can't or won't let go of the traditional desk phone. My team has had a very difficult time with this. Half the team uses the app with a headset/microphone combo. The other half insisted on using Polycom desk phones. Setting up the d... read more
Future of office telephony Pros: Easy installation and deployment, great integrations and add-on features like recordings. Our employees really like it! Cons: New iPhone App Store upgrade makes seamless calling a little slower because number needs to be confirmed. Overall: Great service.
Great for the price Pros: I like the capabilities of this software. It seems like it can do a lot for the price. Cons: The software is not very user friendly for someone learning how to use this sort of thing for the first time. Overall: So far so good.
Needs work... Pros: It's good for forwarding calls using an already existing number Cons: ~No text message tones ~Sometimes the app doesn't ring when we receive phone calls, and other times it does ring ~Contacts don't automatically sync when our customers call us, we have to manually add the contacts after we take the calls ~bugs in the software that cause the app to freeze up when trying to transfer a call to other admins ~After setting up the custom voicemail, we weren't (and still aren't) able to hear it when calling the... read more
Dialpad improved our call handling significantly Pros: The ease of use for managing queues for our Support team. We have one global call center for all of Support and managing the availability of agents is really easy. Cons: Once in a while, remote employees have connectivity issues. This could be due to their local networks, but we have seen that their network connectivity seems to be fine and calls still don't connect.
DialPad - Searching for the Right Connection Pros: Gave us a record of calls across the business to see all information to act on if needed and what activity was going on for individuals. A lot of integrations available - GSuite, Salesforce, etc Cons: The set-up and configuration of the team accounts, plus the interface is pretty confusing. It got to the point where I was looking to simply use my regular process to field calls. Calls coming in were delayed quite often (no rings - straight to voicemail) so I'd miss a lot of c... read more
needed a HIPAA compliant phone system Pros: It was user friendly and easy to learn. Cons: not HIPAA compliant difficult to switch companies (had to switch to Ring Central which is HIPAA compliant.) Overall: because we are in the health industry and require a HIPAA compliant phone system, we had to switch from dial pad. I didn't mind using Dialpad but it wasn't a fun process to switch.
