We have tried to get in contact with management regarding our move out charges and they are not responding back to emails and phone calls. If you can respond to our Yelp reviews, respond to our emails and phone calls We tried (510) 788-4614, (510) 788-4604, (510) 444-6000, (510) 747-8973 and all of them go straight to voicemail. We left voicemails. No calls back.

TLDR - DO NOT LIVE HERE! SCAMMY PARENT COMPANY + POLICIES. INCOMPETENT & RUDE MANAGEMENT. NOT WORTH THE SHORT DISTANCE TO BART. Management is either sadly incompetent or gives zero shits. Have been a resident for the last 3 years and since the new owners have taken over, things are on a downward spiral. The elevators are not working AGAIN and the leasing office did not inform anyone. There are not any convenient stairs to get to your unit and end up having to walk all around the property in these instances. The new ownership canceled the free wireless and all of the other "nice things" the former company would do for the residents. DO NOT LIVE HERE. Horribly run building in an ideal location. I moved in, in March 2017 and the only reason I've continued to live here is because of the proximity to BART on 12th Street. The reality is that one shouldn't run the risk. There have been multiple burglaries, all of which appear to be inside jobs (building employees have master keys) and despite all evidence pointing to this, the building won't release hallway camera footage. Don't be fooled. What you see online is NOT what you get. Appliances are shiny but they don't work. And don't expect a response to a service request for months. When we moved in our apt, every light in our apartment except one was dead and one of the light fixture was hanging two feet out of the ceiling. 6 service requests sent before a response. This is a review on the apartment finding and lease signing process. I have not moved in yet. Justin Giles was super fantastic in helping me find a suitable apartment at Domain. I came in early on a Monday morning before work and asked if I can quickly view a studio and 1 bedroom. Justin was very understanding and I was able to see everything I needed to in under 30 mins. My pre-move was a nightmare and I was so worried that this was going to be the end of it. The updater website that they use for pre move checklist is great to keep you on top of the things you need to do, but there were things on there that you did not have to do. For example, you don't need to sign up for water - the building bills you for it in your resident portal. When I called EBMUD they were equally as confused as I was. I have been living here for two years, I like this community since first day! This community is very clean with nice and free gym, which is a bonus point! The management is great, the staff are very friendly and helpful, response to our inquiry is also fast. Our family have a really good time here. As far as I am concerned, security is never a problem, I am feeling safe staying here.

They're right next to bart within a walking distance. The best part of this community is the management, the manager is very responsible and friendly. Whenever I came up with any problems, they're very happy to help me out in a timely manner. I would highly recommend it to my friends who are looking to live at an one or two bedrooms apartment at downtown Oakland.
