We had already viewed several apartments in downtown Oakland (some of them also being Greystar) but the Oakland was certainly the best experience, tour wise. Our guide, Desmond, was super honest with us about all aspects of the community and worked hard to make sure that we were happy with our touring experience. Toured the place with a friend as we were exploring spots in Oakland. When you've seen 1000s of apartments, working with leasing agents can get frustrating (especially the ones that make bad jokes) but Desmond was the best of the bunch. Chill, attentive to our needs as potential renters, and no hard selling. If you rent here, work with him - he's a gem.

My sister recently moved in, we were excited about how the building was so well kept and the apartment was clean and beautiful. The office staff was very helpful through the whole process, transitioning into a new place can be overwhelming so we was so amazed by how quick and friendly the staff was! Horrible resident service by a staff member named Brittany. Last month, I went downstairs to sign for a package and was handed an empty box when I know I'm expecting a phone in there, so I calmly tell them that I know this box doesn't have what I need, and that someone clearly took the contents inside the box. I've now been at this complex for a little over a year. And I can continue to say that I am overly pleased with my experience. There has been upgraded within my time here and I am enjoying them all. They extended the "Business Center" which makes it so convenient on the days you want to work from home. Private rooms, tv's, multiple tables and the best part a fully stocked coffee machine and variety of teas. The gym has new equipment and was made more spacious. I lived in Domain from Dec '18 to Dec '19. Admittedly the experience started out a bit bumpy due to recurring issues with the fire alarm system. However, once that issue was taken care of, there were no shortage of reasons to enjoy the community: - Relatively quiet. Wanted to give my appreciation to isiah for speaking with regarding about my apartment and availability. I've been searching for a new place and it's hard getting hold of most places (seems like everyone gets lazy during the holidays). This is such a beautiful community and so conveniently close to Bart and freeway. I had a tour with Julia and she was very knowledgeable and sweet! She made me feel very comfortable and was so easy to talk to. I currently work from home so i love the fact that they have a business center there available. Also during our tour, she introduced me to Fermin, one of the service guys and they both made me feel very welcomed and comfortable. I'd love to rate more than 5 starts if i could for such a lovely experience
