We only had the apartment for a year and even had a pre inspection before moving which said that we wouldn't be charged much before moving out. I opted to clean the apartment myself before moving and spent hours making sure that every inch of the apartment was cleaned, as per their instructions. I just moved here from San Diego a week ago and have been pretty impressed by everything so far. The complex is secure, the office staff has been friendly, and the residents seem pretty laid back so far. The amenities offered are great (the gym has enough variety of equipment that I cancelled my membership), the co-working space has been nice for a WFH setup when I want to get out of the apartment. I've lived here about 5 months now. So far I can't complain. The washer and dryer in unit has been amazing. It's pretty clean. I've had no issues with anything in my unit and I haven't been affected by the fire alarm issue in my building. It's super pet friendly. It's not perfect. It's still expensive but not for what you get in the area. The area is a bit rough but not too bad. I wish there were a grocery store closer since I do not have a car. I was Quoted a price 1monthly and ended up paying more than I was told Julia signed me up quoted me a completely different price than I'm paying now $400 dollars more plus $140 in trash fees it definitely should be cheaper than it is it's not up to date

Now that some time has passed from leaving Domain, I feel it is safe enough to write a review without the risk of any retaliation or consequence. I know that might sound crazy, but I wouldn't put anything past them. My goal is to prevent as many people as possible from ever living here. I really want to love my apartment. But the fire alarms make it impossible. They are the loudest i have ever heard, which is a good thing for a fire alarm unless it is constantly broken. It goes off during the workday, and lately it goes off repeatedly through the night. I've lived here for several years and it's been a recurring problem but now it is seriously out of control. 1 AM, 4AM, 4PM, etc., it just does not stop. Please take other reviews seriously and do not move here. The false fire alarms are bloodcurdling and real. We didn't believe the issue could be as bad as past reviews said, and now we seriously regret moving here last year. The alarms go off on average 3x per month. Sometimes, they're blasting for the whole day every hour. Last night, they were howling at 1am , every two hours. Over and over, mind-piercing, insane alarms at 100 decibels that go on for 5-10 minutes until the fire department arrives. It's damaging our hearing... read more

The fire alarm went off multiple times again last night, so that testy response they left me about how things are better now aged horribly. The firemen were definitely pissed as well. Thankfully I don't live there anymore, but a friend who does had to cancel plans with me because they're so exhausted from the alarms keeping them up all night. Really bad experience living in this building for the past year. Fire alarm system is terrible and incredibly disruptive and would go off intermittently during the day, impacting our WFH schedule. More recently (ie last night), it went off 5x from 2am-9am!! This is not a new issue with the building, but it seems like the efforts taken by management are not going anywhere.
