One Star Very difficult to load receipts without opening top access door. Scanner is very SLOW.

One Star This is awful. It doesn't connect to a Mac at all and you can't get any customer support

then scan it and hope for the best. ABSURD Brother's tech support confirmed there is no way to adjust color, brightness, contrast, etc. while observing the changes. You must blindly make adjustments, then scan it and hope for the best. ABSURD!! Also, this model has the USB cable coming out the back of the unit, which gets in the way of papers being scanned. I'm returning it.

I went ahead and purchased this product. PLEASE NOTE ... I went ahead and purchased this product. PLEASE NOTE: This scanner ONLY works with Brother software. The BR-Receipts software that I purchased as an add on doesn't work well. Has many errors in it and the Brother development haven't updated the program in years. I was trying to use the receipt application on the MAC and I was forced to scan, save the file, then import it into the Receipts application. I couldn't install the software. I kept getting error ... I couldn't install the software. I kept getting error messages, I called support but gave up because the hold was too long.

I bought this to take to a client and scan ... I bought this to take to a client and scan documents. It was so slow it wasn't worth it, I would have spent days on just a few piles of paper.

Didnt scan! I bought this for the size. Which is nice. Also got it to scan important receipts and papers for an insurance claim. The scanner wouldn't properly scan unless the letters were almost done size. Everything was dark. Nothing was ledgable.
