Worst place ever! We tell them 5-6 days in advance as to when we need our car shipped. They tell us no problem we will get back to you with a pick up location. Days come and go. We decided to call them because it’s the day before we are supposed to leave and we haven’t heard ANYTHING from them. They tell us that they don’t have anyone to come get our car. I have never in my life left a bad review before, but this company was an absolute nightmare to work with. I was, and still am so dissapointed with how bad the customer service was. Jen helped me ship my car to Columbus, Ohio. No problems with pick up, or delivery. No scratches or dings. I called Jen to see the status of my car during pickup, while it was in transit, and prior to delivery.
They were professional and pleasant to work with. However, after my vehicle was damaged by the carrier they pulled the card that because my vehicle is a salvaged the damaged would not be covered. Take not if your vehicle has a salvage title, the carrier can completely destroy your vehicle and this company will not take responsibility.
Truly horrific company. I have never wrote an online review before but I have to warn people— stay away from these people at all costs. They subcontracted the shipping of my car to a shady company that has been holding my car hostage for two days despite the fact that I have the money for them and am willing to to pay anytime. Never ever use this company to ship your vehicle. I live in Michigan. Diy transport is supposed to deliver my car in Savannah GA on September 6th. They asked me to keep the car ready on August 29. After so many calls from me, on 5th afternoon they told me they don't have a driver. I was leaving to Savannah on 5th evening. They asked me to leave the car on my driveway with the key inside. I used DIY when I moved from GA to OH . I had multiple items to ship which was dispatched to three different companies. The first of which consisted of two cars . They were picked up on time and delivered on time . My 80 year old parents were at drop off location and saw nothing wrong and paid the driver. When I arrived and went to clean the vehicles one was fine the other had slight damage to passenger side mirror. DIY Transport give me a quote to transport my car , I also give them a credit card as payment. The following day the call to say the transaction was cancelled and the employee that give the quote was fired. Off course the price changed over night from $500. To $650 . All bunch of lies. Never recommended!
This is not slander/defamation (see bottom of review for legal definition) but a statement of facts of events that occurred. 1) My vehicle was booked on 12/26/2016 for shipment from Colorado to Texas in the amount of $455.00. This was the amount I agreed to. 2) The driver gave a three (3) hour notice before he would be onsite. 3) When the driver arrived on-site. He requested another $100 to pickup/deliver.
