Many issues with driver, DID NOT deliver to residence. Having not shipped a car, learned that some disclosures or issues that can arise do not get mentioned early. Driver never contacted me, I had to reach out. Once pick up date was established, never heard from driver till day after pick up was supposed to happen. I never expected that between moving across the country and starting a new job that shipping my car would be the most stressful part. Currently spending my last day home figuring out another company to ship my car because Easy Auto Ship failed at doing so. I initially spoke with Brandon a month prior to pick up, who seemed to have fallen off the face of the earth a few days before my car was supposed to be picked up. We were told the car would be picked up on a Wednesday or Thursday and would be called the day before. So when we weren't called Tuesday we assumed it was Thursday- that is until we got a call a little after noon on Wednesday saying they would be there in 2 hours! We weren't even home, didn't have the car packed with the few items that were going with it..... The gentleman did show on time and was very courteous- but thanks for the heads up. did not ship on day specified had to meet driver at a local business car would not start and was asked to help push car off transport I have a heart valve and should not be doing this payed driver with 240.00 cash did not get a receipt and was told he needed to get going would not use this company again.
Terrible customer service they are a middle man company they told me they had their own drivers not true and that I would only pay 1 person also not true my car was lost for 3 weeks I had to go and find it my self and work with a driver to get it home. I had to pay 2 times do you research took over 1 1/2 months to get my car not the quoted 6-8 days big difference
Got the job done. When the driver was unable to get a hold of me he left for Minot. I finally got cell service and he offered to bring the car to where ever I wanted in Bismarck. He was a half hour away when I got a hold of him. He said he would pull over and wait for me if I would like. So he turned a potentially bad experience good. Very nice people to deal with.
For this review, I am conflicted because the most important thing (the car being shipped safely) was as advertised: A+ care and at a fair price. I am not sure how much East Auto Ship is able to control when it comes to the drivers they hire, however. The driver seemingly forgot to pick up the car, and then gave a false estimate of when the vehicle would be picked up. I should have known from the start. The price was outrageous, but I thought that meant that my Tesla would be in good hands. The car shipped from California to Florida and cost more than $2600 covered. Picked up on a Monday and promised on that Friday, then Saturday, then Sunday, then Monday, then Tuesday, and finally Wednesday at 5PM. The lack of commitment from the carrier was unbelievable.
