Got into a wreck and havent had my car for two months. The insurance company went back and forth with the repair shop and didnt even communicate with me. They are very negligent when it comes to communicating. Long story short, they are cheap and screwed me over. I have full coverage and they should have covered all of the damages.
I had elephant Insurance for years. No accidents, tickets, or claims. A few months after they raised my premiums, I canceled my account instead of auto renewing my policy like every other year. They didn't mail me or call me, I found out about their cancelation policy by them taking it out of my account 30+ days after I canceled my policy. I called them. They are a HORRIBLE Insurance Company. Their rates may be affordable but if you file a claim you will be disappointment. Their customer service is horrible. You have to constantly call them. Their vehicle valuation process is a JOKE. I was not happy with my vehicle valuation with Allstate so I decide to file it against my own insurance. I'd give zero if I could right now. We've had full coverage on my car. When an accident happened, they were sure quick (the "claims associate") to get our statement. We gave them everything they needed, and now ghosted from said agent. Reading other reviews this appears to be common practice with this insurance company. How this company has an A+ rating with the reviews I'm seeing is beyond me.
Do not give them a dime. You will become your very own claim adjuster. They do not work on your claim unless you call them and tell them to do their job, and even then they cant seem to do so! Ive been waiting 3 months on getting a claim resolved. They let my car sit for a month in a lot before towing to fix. Then they wouldnt approve multiple supplements, they wouldnt pay the body shop and to the best of my knowledge still hasnt. Elephant Insurance is a complete scam..I had my policy for a year, and just yesterday I noticed that they renewed my policy, and doubled the monthly cost..I never received a email, or any type of notices in the mail, informing me of this rate increase in advance.,They just made the changes in secretand charged my bank account..I called Progressive insurance..got the exact same coverage..same deductible..for $95 cheaper a month....Thanks Progressive for caring more about your clients, than the amount of money you can scam the... read more
We are Comprehensive insurance owners of Elephant insurance group and had to make a claim on a rear window of our ****** Tundra after an attempted theft in ******* parking lot. We provided all the pictures ' Video and Police reports and they told us because it was a non collision based claim the deductible would be 100$.After they offered us a pathetic amount of ****** for the repair scaling almost 1000$ they sent me a invoice showing they had bunked up the deductible to 500$ and refuse to pay out the correct amount for the ... read more
I pay for roadside service for the last few years & on my policy it shows I have roadside but when I call in to have *** car towed due to me not having a spare tire they tell me it doesn't show I have it but I pay & have paid for roadside for many years. The guy tells me he can send someone but I will pay out of pocket & possibly be reimbursed???.... Wth is that. I pay so I'm not coming out of pocket so why would I pay out of pocket?? Absolutely the worst. Was rear ended by an Elephant policyholder in which they ended up being 100% at fault. Claims Representative got my statement and completely ghosted me after that, leaving me on my own to figure out repairs and rental vehicle. Finally I got ahold of the costumer service line to get set up with repairs and rental car, only to later find out that the rental car location doesnt have any economy cars (which are only covered by Elephant). 3 different times I had to wait on hold ***** minutes, only for someon... read more
