Don't do business here terrible claims reps still waiting to close claim on total lost filed june now july you have at least 15 people telling you different information on your claim the worst, If it was left up to me I would give them no stars.
I got insurance with them I'm May of this year. They asked me about everyone in the household, I explained to them who they were and that I was the only driver. I went to pay my car insurance the next month and they cancelled my insurance because someone that use to live in my household had a suspended license in another state. Then they wanted me to show proof of insurance elsewhere for the other people and I told them they didn't have a license or a car. I spoke to 3 different people about why Elephant cancelled my policy without notice after accepting the recent payment 5 days earlier. The first person I spoke with was rude and refused to transfer me to a supervisor even after asking over ten times, even said they had no supervisor. Called the same number on a different phone while on hold in the original call, that lady hung up on me when I insisted to speak to a supervisor. Awful customer service!! They drafted my account after I had canceled my policy. They never notified me they were going to do this. I called to find out why they drafted my account and asked to speak with a supervisor but the supervisor refused to take my call.
After reading the reviews, I don't know how this company is still in business!
Sure, Elephant has been great for the past 6 years I have been with them. Until recently, when I had an accident. Now I have been ghosted. Voicemails are ignored, emails are ignored. The only time it seems like someone replies is when I call and talk to a general adjusted, whom leaves notes. It has been over two weeks. I was paying way too much for auto insurance until I heard about Elephant... After receiving my quote, I didn’t think twice about switching over to them. I have the exact same policy, but for $***** cheaper. What more can I say?! If you haven’t already, check out the Elephant in the room, And I can almost guarantee that you’ll join the herd!
This insurance group is on its money when coming to communication with them,they sent emails keep you in touch,with vital information needed, on your policy,they make sure you understand any questions,asked them they answered correctly,I don’t know about y’all but I’m sold
I WILL NEVER recommend Elephant Insurance to ANYONE because they LIE to you. I never received an email to either accept or reject PIP until I contacted them the first day of coverage regarding the fact that my payment was higher than originally quoted. I got the form THAT DAY via email, not before. And yet my first payment is not changed because of ONE DAY of coverage generating a down payment for something I did not want.
