This company is the worst ... do not get there insurance !!!!!
I had a parking lot fender bender, minor, but trying to get Elephant to communicate with you is almost impossible. You leave voice mail and email messaged with claims and they will not respond. They have good rates but HORRIBLE SERVICE. Go elsewhere to get your insurance.
I wasn’t completely satisfied with the way that there are hidden fees that are tacked on to your next month’s payment when the previous one was late. I was unaware of these fees when I signed my policy, so just wanted to make everyone aware. I’m very disappointed and dissatisfied with the service.
As the previous reviews have stated, pray you never hit anyone that is insured through this scamming company. Even with a policy report that clearly puts the other driver at fault, I was given this reason for the denial of a claim, "The police officer wasn't present at the scene during the crash, so we are going to take the word of our insured". Wow!! Their adjusters are paid to evade accepting fault.

DO NOT GET THIS INSURANCE! Initially they will offer low rates. However as your agreement goes your monthly rate will fluctuate. My payment went from $260 to $350. Nearly a $90 difference. Customer service is terrible. They offer auto pay as a option to decrease your monthly payment. However they will not automatically draft your payment. I have experienced this nearly every month that I have not manually paid. This is only for you to incur late fees which they assess daily. Overall terrible choice. THIS IS ******* *****, A VERY DISAPPOINTED LONG TIME CUSTOMER. WHAT EVER YOU DO, DO NOT PURCHASE INSURANCE COVERAGE FROM ELEPHANT DUE TO THEIR SLICK FINANCIAL PRACTICES WITH YOUR MONTHLY PREMIUM PAYMENTS. THEY HAVE $405.00 OF A CREDIT THAT'S OWED TO ME AND THEY DO NOT WANT TO REFUND OR APPLY IT TO THE CURRENT MONTH PREMIUM PAYMENTS. THEY WANT ME TO PAY MONTHLY AND KEEP MY CREDIT TO DISPERSE IN THE MANNER THEY WANT TO DISPERSE. THIS IS FRAUD!!! BBB HERE I COME.
Elephant Insurance company is a scam/fraud company. I had various issues with them. I took this insurance with 100/300/100k coverage for 2 of my cars and paid 6 months of premium upfront. Here are the issues I had with them.. 1. I sold one car half way through the term of insurance. Don't you expect a refund of unused insurance payment? Elephant says NO. They did not pay me back. This company is horrible. The customer service person was ignorant to my questions. They wouldn't let me speak to a supervisor. The wait time via tre phone is way too long. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Hey charge late fees, when other companies doesn't. The management seemed like they were uninterested in helping with my complaints against the customer agent. Seemed like he was going through the motions of accepting a complaint call.
