Technician David D**** was pleasent enough, little did we know he was charging us double what the garagedoor opener normally sells for through other companies, so this is just a buyer beware. Please do your homework before using this company.

The work was impeccable but the cost was ridiculous. It kept going hire and now that I’ve compared pricing we were ripped off. Ripping off seniors by about $1,000.

When repairman arrived the gate opened & closed by putting 2 wires together. He quoted $295 to fix. He repaired the gate so that it didn’t work at all and then charged an additional $200 to actually fix. He tried to charge an additional $400 but we made him come down by showing him that a part he said cost $250 actually cost $50 on Amazon.

Elite Garage installed new doors on my three car garage in January 2020. October 2020, one of the door motors failed. I called and the next day they were at my house, evaluated the issue and replaced the motor with a new one. Then without requesting anything further, they performed maintenance on the other door. I only paid for labor, as required and not new motor. Professional and pleasant. I couldn’t be happier.

They repaired my door NOT for the quoted $300.00 price but for $500.00. Communication was poor.

What seems to be a common thread on here, is I was way overcharged to have my springs replaced. The technician first quoted me for replacing whole system. That was $2000. I said I would just prefer to get springs done as one had broken. I was not given a new quote before work was done and ended up having to pay $700. I have had springs replaced before on other houses and never paid more than $350. I called office and was told $250 per spring as their price but did offer to refund me $100. Let’s just say I wished I read the Yelp reviews beforehand. Technicians came out and was very professional. They saw the issue and quickly became another issue after another. I was told the parts need to be replaced but never was given a price for any of it from the get go. Technicians finished after 2.5 hrs and my bill was $2449. The invoice shows $1999 but no description of what that amount is for. $550 for parts replaced (spring line replacement, spring pad replacement and oil/lube). We have two gentlemen arriving today at our house to give us a quote; one of the guys was very professional however we had a terrible experience with the African American man. The African American guy told us $300 to fix the garage door bottom seal, I said I will think about it and get back to you, then he got into an argument mood and told me my family was wasting his time! I called and tech came same day. Gave me a quote to replace opener for $1250. Did great job issue was final cost was $2660. I called office and did receive an adjustment of $360 and received check today! I still feel I was over charged and can assure you that I won’t use again! Install and product was fine cost wasn’t guy was at job site for total of 90 minutes including time he used to try and convince me I got excellent product!!
