Boy, I don't understand all the negativity about this place. First..the nursing staff is outstanding. Attentive, caring, and upbeat. The PT and OT can't be beat. They came up with a plan and what a plan. By my discharge I was proficient in walking with walker, climbing steps, taking care of my self. Made the transition to home very successful. I saw my doctor at least once daily Complaints about food do not make sense. This not a 5 star restaurant. You have multiple choice each meal. I appreciated the nourishment choice... read more

I would like to thank the 2 floor staff for their professional service in taking care of mother and helping me learn the work that will be needing to be done when my parent returns home. The nurses and CPAs are outstanding, as well as the speech therapist, also someone braided my mothers hair to keep it from knotting up :) The case workers were thorough in their job description, although there are weekend and weekday case workers they seemed to be informed and updated by each other. This is the best Rehabilitation Hospital around. Be prepared to work hard. You have three hours daily of therapy. There are set visiting hours. The staff are amazing but be warned that they can be tough but that's because they want you to recover.

I had a family member there recently and we received a vast array of treatment. A few nurses were great, attentive and respectful. A few were awful, treated my relative like she was nothing but a burden. The administation was ok. Again, during family meetings, some were willing to provide patience and understanding, and were respectful to my family as we had numerous questions about the her status staying at the facility, how medicare came into play and what we could expect once discharged.
