Pros: The finished roof looks nice and they were very quick at getting the job completed. Cons: The quote process was lengthy, the salesperson was at the house for hours doing a demonstration/presentation and that was not expected. He misrepresented what I would get out of their services, to include insulation in the attic, a shingle (that I chose) which was discontinued, and when I said I was concerned about installation during the winter and snow, he said not to worry because they would put a tent over my house while the w... read more
The work was great. The clean up was great. But i was to get a copy of the warranty upon completion. I did not get it. i have called several times and was told I would get it. it's been over two week's and still no warranty! it's like after they got my payment they have forgotten about Me. I would not recommend Erie to anyone just for this reason.
Roofers weee excellent and very knowledgeable Metal roof we picked out is definitely NOT the roof we got. We saw two samples and roof not same. No one has called or came to see Installation despite being told that would happen during Sales Presentation. Way way way overpriced and did not deliver We feel as Senior Citizens we were SCAMMED
They over priced my roof by $10,000.00 using an app on there phone that orders too much material instead of measuring the roof correctly! Then I had to argue with project manager from ******** because he says that's what they have to do. I think they need to stop ripping people off. I will not recommend them!
I am a disabled person who let Erie put on a roof on my house that is 984 scare feet and they charged me ****** dollars for their lower grade three tab shingles and they also replaced my facia board that I bought and painted, it is not even a metal roof, it is three tab shingles and I feel like I was way overcharged.
This is a scumbag company. They sent two salesmen who did nothing but lie to me endlessly. From what Ive seen on Reddit reviews they prey on older people and Im 74. They were $20,000 higher than Comfort Windows and doors who gave me a 10 year labor and materials warranty. I looked Erie Homes proposal over and they said they would remove all plywood and replace. Way overpriced compared to another roofing company that's been in business almost as long as them. Will not get ripped off. Will not recommend them due to high price quote.
I would like to leave a better star rating but with the experince i ha e been having with this company and the consistance bother for a review when only half the project is over. I believe that this one star is appropriate. First half they got done and billed out quickly. But the second half of the project the loan department is dragging their feet and are requiring documents that they dont need.
