After about 7 minutes of ringing the bell and yelling, a harried desk clerk finally arrived. By then 3 of us were waiting to check in. He mumbles so you can barely hear him, but he did ask for a $200 deposit to let you check in and "didn't know why." This is why I dont usually pick the best deal. Because it usually isn't.

This hotel lacks the bare necessities such as room cleaning, hair dryer, iron, coffee pot, etc. It had a kitchenette with NO means to use it. It reminded me of staying at Grandma's house - badly in need of updates and repairs. Those repairs done, were obviously DIY, not professionals. #117 had a patched shower floor and coats of paint! Room was dimly lit. Staff was rude as well. When I mentioned that our garbage hadn't even been picked up, I was told there were cans all over the property. Not a good experience.

I booked two rooms, one for me and one for my friend. My friend arrived late in the evening and her room had strong cigarette smell. She couldn’t fall asleep because of that. She went to the front office hoping to switch rooms. She was told the hotel is fully booked and no other room is available. Fortunately we have a friend who stayed in another hotel close by and was willing to share the room with her. My friend asked to cancel her room and she will move out ASAP. This property was bare bones in terms of standard amenities. No coffee, hair conditioner, hair dryer…. A closet w no hangers for your clothes! The bathroom door would not close properly….I don’t think we will stay here again.

2/5 stars The people at the front desk were friendly both at checkin and checkout. So two out of five stars for that. If they hadn't hiked up their prices during the balloon fiesta to as much as the higher end hotels, I would have rated it 3/5. Docked stars for finding two dead roaches, another type of bug, and a broken bathroom door handle so i couldn't close the door for fear of getting stuck inside. The water was entirely too soft, I could never remove soap residue off after washing hands or showering.

Extremely run down. I almost cried when I saw the room. Shower busted, toilet ran constantly, filthy carpet, worn bedding, night lamp taped to the wall. Omg. Worst stay ever.

Very disappointed. The hotel cancelled my reservation without informing me and leaving me at 12 in the morning with no place to go.
