No room at the inn. We arrived at 1am on the Friday of Easter weekend to find that they'd overbooked and our pre-paid room was not available. Hotels had no rooms left at all so we had to hunt around in the early hours of the morning for another place to stay. There was only a service lady on duty, so no one to get a refund from or complain to. Apparently we were the third booking she'd turned away. Hotel needs improvement Making reservations online went smoothly. The staff upon arrival was friendly and helpful. The hotel, however had a foul stench. I was unaware that pets were allowed. Though ice trays were provided in the rooms, it was not helpful when we arrived needing ice then. I could not turn off the fan in my room without turning off the heat altogether, and there were pet hairs on our bedding. Not clean rooms / bugs We stayed there after Christmas to visit family in the area. We arrived at the hotel and went to Hotel. The employee at the front desk blouse was so wrinkled it was unbelievable. We went to our room and were greeted with BUGS they was some kind of bugs flying around and it was just not ONE - we went to front desk and of course they can't do anything no manager. While my husband was at front desk I looked in bathroom and there was so much hair in the tub/shower you could tell it was not cleaned. My advi... read more

Nice people; smelly room We booked two rooms through Expedia, but when we got there they only had one reservation. The guy at the desk -- Shwan -- got us another room, but told us the Expedia reservations were almost always a problem. To compensate us for the trouble, he gave us a discount.

Had the wort night The fifteen years old refrigerator was terribly noisy. The room’s wall must be made of cardboard, could hear my neighbor snoring, dogs barking and people walking in the corridors. They did not clean up my room. A few cereal bars at the front desk does not qualify as “Breakfast included”

Found a open safety pin between the sheets which makes me wonder if the sheets were changed.

Budget Hotel in East Asheville This is a budget hotel and it's perfectly adequate for that purpose. Hotel has some age, but is well maintained and clean. Wifi is free and fast. Grab and go breakfast was nice touch. Near the Asheville mall area with shopping and restaurants.

Avoid. Craphole. More people standing outside the hotel than in. Had a musty smell in the rooms. Ppl behind counter a little rough as well.

Skip this place Outdated dark rooms with uncomfortable beds. You can hear everything next to you and down the hall. Our room was close to lobby and laundry room so people would gather there and talk wand we could hear everything. The room had a kitchen and it smelled like pickle juice every time we walked in, someone must have broken a jar on the floor. Would not stay again.
