Check in was great, my room was nice and clean. But lacked some basic stuff like a coffee machine etc. The staff was okay at best. They definitely hated their job mostly cause they were understaffed. We got locked out the hotel cause there were no staff after 11 to let us in when the key thi g didnt work. Had to walk around the entire building to find a door that would work. Its like everyman for them selves. Kinda shocking. All in all is was alright and convenient.

Great Location It’s an older property but they keep it very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking and most importantly to me LOCATION! Great area for dining, shopping or outdoor activities. All the action on S. Congress is right around the corner.

No towels The room was fine. We were there for 2 nights. They did not clean the room after the first night and when I called down for clean towels at 4 pm they said they didnt have any ready. They said itvwould be about 6pm before towels were ready and we would have to bring down the dirty towels to exchange them for clean ones. They may have been under staffed. But i probably wouldnt stay there again.
After booking this hotel for our stay in Austin and reading some of the reviews I was slightly concerned about what we were going to turn up to but have to stay I was pleasantly surprised and really happy with our stay here. The hotel is what it is in terms of the price you pay for it -fairly cheap and cheerful but the room was spacious and clean.
