I previously reviewed this hotel and gave it fairly high scores. That review was based on 4 previous stays or 2 to 4 nights. All were on the "lake" side of the hotel. My recent stay was on the second floor of the rte 95 side. The noise from the freeway was constant and disruptive, a din enhanced by the passage of high speed trains. When large trucks sped by on the highway, I could feel vibrations in my room. I slept poorly when I slept at all. The property was understaffed. The place is right next to an active railroad and the place shakes when a train passes. The building I stayed in was dark and dirty and I didn't feel safe coming in or going out at night. The walkway's were filty and cigarette butts were all over the place

They refused to accept cash even though I was able to book on Expedia with the caveat that I could pay upon arrival. They refused to take cash for less than a 7 day stay, I was staying for 2 days. I had to find another hotel at 10pm after a long drive. I'll never consider this ridiculous place. I know it's 2018 but c'mon, it's cash!!!!

There was no lotion in the bathroom, not enough soaps to shower with. Only one. and one toliet roll that was already being used. There was no extra one for when i ran out. Instead i used the tissues provided for the nose. Bugs in the hotel room. And was charged 64.28 for no reason and told me it'd take five days to recieve my money back and it was there mistake because i already paid through expedia and there was no need for me to pay again.

I check in at the front desk the young registrar gave me the key to my room 221 unpack the truck getting ready to go in and the key didn’t work. We kept trying so after the key didn’t work I went back to the front desk she told me that it should work and that she would come around to our room and open the door. Approximately 30 min to 45min went back to the front desk and she was on her way she couldn’t get the door open she saw the maid and she try to open the door and it wouldn’t. I asked for an iron, because the one in the room wasn't working and they never brought me one. My room didn't have a coffee maker as advertised.

I booked at 1030 got to the hotel with my dog at 1120 they tell me they are booked. No apology or anything. So I call expedia and they try to get me a new room but because it was now after Midnight, i can not book anywhere. So I'm stuck in my car with my dog with no where to go. Scariest experience ever.
