Tried to stay here overnight on route to the Outer Banks. Booked 5 rooms weeks in advance for my family as well as some extended family members. Arrived to check in to our rooms around 9 PM and was told AFTER we had already paid that there were no clean rooms in the hotel and cleaning staff had already left. They could not give us any rooms. The front desk attendant was happy to charge our card without being able to provide a room for us or our party. We were left in the lurch with 10 adults and 5 kids at 9 pm on a Saturday ... read more
The room that we reserved was sold to somebody else when we came to the property after 8 hours drive! We were not the only ones a with the same problem. At least three more travelers had the same issue. Manager was nowhere to find and receptionist was just repeating ‘we have no rooms’. We all had to book much more expensive room in the nearby hotel. It’s a shame. What is reservation for?
Reserved a king room and it was not there when we arrived. No accommodations made for giving us a smaller room.
Room not available two full hours after check in time. No luggage carts meant 3 long trips from the car. Put into dirty room with full trash cans and no soap or clean towels. When I asked for clean towels and sheets so I could change the bed I was told they were in the laundry altho they found enough clean items for me to get by. When I asked to speak to manager or when I could call one I was told they wouldn't be there until Wednesday. I was there on a Saturday. So much for step ten of the extended stay cleaning process. The lights didnt work there was nail polish on sinknin bathroom the toilet had very bad stains in it the shower was not clean the bed had dirty sheets on it the ironing board was falking apart one of the pillows was very old the room had a very pungent smells like it had been old and closed up just overall terrible experience
