Terrible experience

My stay would have been better if the fire alarm wasn’t going off for 1 1/2 hours and had people going into our cars and it was extremely cold out. I had no car and had to stand outside for that long and it shouldn’t have took the fire department 40 mins just to get there and to turn it off.

Dirty, no breakfast! I was locked out of the building because I forgot my room key at 8:30 am and no one showed up to open the door.

I stayed a couple nights they charged me extra the 1st night for having one friend over. The next day they made me walk to go get money off my card to turn around and tell me that they don’t take cash. It was 10 degrees outside I’m not from Chicago I’m from California.

We came shortly after hours and no one was at the desk. We had to wait outside between the doors, call the main number, then they called the hotel and it was another 10-15 minutes before anyone came to let us in. Then rhey said the wifi was down and it took another 15 minutes to get checked in even though we had reservations. Our room had a broken door, no items in the kitchen, only 1 bar of soap, a broken closet door, no iron, a latge bug in the bathtub, and we set the air on 60 and it maybe got down to 72. Not good Upon arrival,Hallways and our room was very smelly. Smelled like animal urine. I had to spray air freshener every time my kids and I entered the room. Floors were dirty. Housekeeping needs to dust because it was spiderwebs on light fixtures. Entering the room the door looked like it’s been broken into and they tried to fix it but not stable. Bathroom door handle was on backwards.
