We rented the hotel for our employees and during the check in process, our crew was treated poorly. They called my husband and my husband spoke with the agent. The agent stated we needed a $50 deposit. He refused to take the payment over the phone or charge it to the card on file. He then stated that if the room had absolutely any damage to it that we would be facing some serious consequences.

First time choosing ESA hotel. Needed a night stop over around Cincinnati on our way back to the north. Location is not bad. Caught a strong whiff of cannabis as soon as we walked into the entrance/lobby. This smell also lingering inside the elevator and stairs. Our smoke detector has been removed from ceiling so not very safe. Very basic only reason we stayed is it has a full fridge and we needed to refrigerate some medication otherwise would not go again.
