My sister and I came out of town for a wedding and the room we did reserve down the road double booked us and didn’t have a room which is how we ended up at extended stay America. I wish I read the reviews because after checking in I noticed the terrible smell in all the halls and a lot of sketchy people lurking around. It turns out this is also the kind of hotel that allowed people on public assistance to also stay here for but yet charge travelers $150 a night to be surrounded by a bunch of homeless people.

I had a non-smoking room that had been smoked in frequently. The room stank despite my opening the window and running the fan. All of my clothing, including items I had not worn, had to be washed upon my return home. The mattress was many years passed its 'best before date' and the mattress cover was quite stained. I stayed as I had paid in full upon arrival(no option was presented other than that, and I did not want to lose my money.

Do not stay here. Old expired food in the cabinets, 2 pillows and no blankets, wifi didn't work, phone didn't work, section 8 hotel. The noise 24 hours was unbearable.

It wasnt clean , residents of the hotel leaves trash and personal property outside like its part of their room. People standing all around entrance smoking and looking disgusting. Make you not even want to enter.

No breakfast at all when it was supposed to be included.. and there were panhandlers harassing me outside the entrance

The girl at the front desk was very rude and extremely unhelpful. She would rather drink out of a red solo cup with people outside in front of the hotel instead of trying to correct a problem that the hotel had. My room had NO LOCK and they wouldn't move my room. I was told that it was safe and I didn't need to lock my door. This was after I was on the elevator with someone who was extremely intoxicated so I'm thinking it's not so safe to stay in a room with no lock on the door.

We are truly disappointed at your experience. I will coach up my front desk staff. The deadbolt became inoperable during your stay and maintenance has fixed the issue. The Door still had the regular lock as well as the latch at the top of the door to secure the door. We were happy to have moved you to a different room upon your request to make you feel safe.

When we went to check in the lobby was not well lit much like entering a cave. The whole building had an odd odor. My son said it smelled like cat litter. Once we got our room which was a king with a pull out sofa, there was no bedding for the pull out. I went to the front desk and asked for bedding they said they don't normally supply bedding for the pull out bed but the would let me use some sheets and a blanket but no pillows. So my other son who lives in Cleveland had to bring pillows over for me to use. The first mornin... read more
