If you have allergies don't stay here It was memorial day weekend and I had my dog and I was not planning on staying in a hotel. This hotel was available and they took pets which worked out. The outside facility was nice and the rooms are fairly large which is also nice but the mattresses on the bed are hard and my mother kept sneezing and her allergies flared up every time we were in our hotel room. Location was the best part Stayed at this hotel due to the proximity to the Loyola Center around the corner. The room just felt uncomfortable with the arrangement, and it was just cheap. The appliances were worn and rusty, the sheets and towels old and almost in a state of disintegration by being washed (hopefully) year after year. "Breakfast" was bitter, cheap coffee, and disgusting muffins on a table. I did not even notice a bowl of fruit. This property is in need of a major renovation. 1.5 hours to check in! The agony of check-in was mind boggling! It took the desk clerk 10 minutes to check each person in and there were up to fifteen of us in line! Unreal! Do not stay here!

Tissue in peephole? There was tissue stuffed in the peep hole. Disgusting. Breakfast bar was lame. The condition and structure of the interior was dirty. Cabinets were filthy. Tub didn't drain, lamp by bed didn't work, Internet was super slow, air unit was right next to the bed and was loud and in my face. Late checkout was only until 12 pm. No ice bucket or coffee maker in the room. The desk chairs were filthy disgusting. I put a towel down on it to sit. Gross.

Smelly rooms Although the hotel is new, the smell of the room was horrible. It may have come from the refrigerator or dish washer but I kept my distance. The area has many conveniences which was a good thing because had to spend most of our time outside of the smelly room.
