Terrible Odor and Unsanitary Check-in was quick and uneventful. Halls smelled with cooking odor, room had extremely strong cooking odor (likely curry). It was terrible, so bad that we couldn’t sleep well as the smell was embedded into the linens. The TV screen had food particles stuck to it. Kids were running in the halls and being loud at 7AM, with parents standing there and allowing it, they may be long term residents. Horrible.. front desk lady was rude as hell and even when she called Expedia to try to get my refund she was so rude to the rep on the phone. She couldn’t get my refund so I had to take matters into my own hands and call Expedia. Crazy part is my kindness and me explaining properly to the rep what happened let me get approved for a refund in minutes, whereas it took her forever. Very unprofessional workers there. Never one to go full Karen but here goes First off, this may as well be listed as a crack house. Loud, dirty, halls stink of dog piss. First room- toilet wasnt bolted to the floor. Literally almost broke my ass. Front desk was nice enough and gave us a secone room. Second room- Bedding stunk like an ashtray. The paint on the sheetrock bathroom ceiling was like a giant water blister. Im sure there was no mold there though. SMH The basic purpose of a hotel is to provide a clean safe place to sleep. Take note this is a dog friendly property and they are everywhere. Smell of food cooking everywhere. The bed and pillows were hard as rocks and felt like they were 20 years old. Just not great.
