Great staff and customer service the hotel itself just isn’t worth staying at

I started to give an entire run down of what happened when I settled into my room at this property- but to get straight to the point I found mold and because I used the restroom and ironing board they said I wasn’t allowed refund because I used the room. It doesn’t change the unhealthy condition of the room. I wouldn’t recommend this place nor would I recommend Expedia they allow these standards and support properties.

There were no chairs at the kitchen counter to sit on while we ate. The free breakfast was too cheap: no milk for the coffee, no orange juice.

We stayed less than 5 min The room was filthy dirt on the the floor— hair in sink in bathroom & toilet definitely not cleaned. The check in staff tried to tell us they needed $ 100 cash for security deposit instead of a credit card — told them that we didn’t have cash & they backed down. Elevator broken & stairs filthy ! Broken glass in the parking lot from an obvious car break in ( should have been my first clue to leave before we ever walked in! On arrival i was asked to handover Usd 100 deposit in cash only as a safegaurd against and subsequent damage thar may occur whilst i occupied the room.this was not made clear at the time of booking so an issue between expedia and the proprty. This was inconvenient and meant I had to go back out and find a cash mschine. The idea of danage was ironic as the state of thecroom was worn out. There was evidence of mold on the bath room celing. The staff was amazing, despite not being given information about our room change, which caused us to find out when we got to our room. The window was busted, the cover was stiff, and the hotel itself just seemed dated and in need of some TLC. On top of everything, the elevator was out. The staff really was the saving grace in all of this.
