You Get What You Pay For It's been many years since I've stayed at an Extended Stay America but I had enjoyed the hotel; until now. I knew I was in for a different experience a soon as I walked into the hotel. The large area rug in front of check-in was very dirty. When I was being checked-in the young lady informed me that my king room was not available and blamed the error on the computer link between Hotels.com and their system. Very dark and dingy and smelled of cigarettes and filth

Overbooked The hotel was overbooked and they had no room for me, very disappointing

the "reservation" that wasn't I made a reservation two weeks in advance, then was told at check-in that they didn't have a room for us. By then, every room in every Grand-Rapids area hotel was booked. So I have no idea how to rate this hotel, because I never saw the inside. If you make a reservation, don't assume that they saved a room for you. To make it worse, they claimed that they tried to contact me, but I provided no contact info... which is nonsense, because you can't make a reservation without contact info. "Blame th... read more

What Hotel Room? When I tried to check in at the desk the lady there informed me that Hotels.com had overbooked and that I had no room. No attempt was made to resolve the situation. I never got to any room. I did not stay the night. The lady said that hotels.com would not charge me. I hope she is right.
