Pay a little more..... Don't cheap out and pay even a Little more if you want to enjoy your visit to Jacksonville. It was shabby and unwelcoming from the beginning to the end. I'm not even sure why I gave it a two on my ratings. No desk staff ever around the only person we saw was an old guy in pajamas sitting out front. I felt like we were staying at a shelter. Close to base Very old, outdated, and damaged. Not very clean. Only clean area was my bed.

Do not recommend BUGS IN THE ROOM!

Horrible! Do not stay! This hotel was far what was advertised on Expedia. As I pulled in the parking lot there were two police cars sitting in the lot along with numerous people walking around and sitting in the parking lot. This was first of many red flags. Then I walked into the hotel lobby where there was no sitting at the front desk and people loitering in their pajamas. There was no restroom in the lobby and I had to wait for 20 minutes to speak with someone. At this point I knew I was not going to stay there.

Smells The hallways smelled like dog urine and our room smelled like cigarette smoke.

get away needs better beds in the rooms

Disappointing Stay at Extend Stay Jacksonville NC Thursday and Friday the water was turned off from 8:00 a.m. till 5:00 p.m. Thursday I found out about the water when i got up to take a shower. Wednesday the hotel taped the signs to the top of the check-in counter. Thursday evening they posted signs about the water on Friday on each of our doors and the elevator doors. Saturday at 7:00 a.m. the fire alarm goes off. The room and hotel was dirty. I stayed for 8 days and the same dirt was on the lobby floors for my entire stay... read more

They shut the water all day from 8am to 6pm with no hot water till 8 or 9.

the place was tired, smoke detectors went off several times due to malfunctions
