Very disappointing, and we are pretty easy The beds were very firm. Like terrible. They have no ice machine---not that it was broken, they don't have one. The clerk seemed surprised I even asked. Though the room had a full kitchen, there was no silverware, plates, bowls, cups, or any type of cookware. Seriously, what's the point? The fan in the bathroom made a horrendous noise when you turned it on as well as when you turned it off, and since it was the same switch as the light you couldn't avoid it. Hotel Closed I got to the hotel only to be greeted by a sign on the door that said "closed due to the hurricane". I get that. However, I had a reservation. How do you close the hotel and not inform me before I get to town? And how does Hotels.com not send me anything either? What a joke.

Worst experience ever We waited in the lobby for 20 minutes to even be greeted. The lady working the front desk was new & did not even know how to sign on to wifi. When we got to our room, it smelled like smoke & the floors were sticky. I sat on the bed clisest to the window, looked down toward the floor & the other bed had what I can only think is dried vomit on the bed skirt. I then noticed a small amount on the skirt of the bed I was on. We immediately left & I will never stay at another Extended Stay America again!

Good Points: Room was clean. Shower had hot water. TV worked. Internet worked. Not Good Points: Efficiency kitchen had full size refrigerator, electric stove and microwave, but had no cups, glasses, plates, bowels, cookware, silverware, etc. Cabinets & drawers were empty. Electrical problem, half the outlets did not work (checked the circuit breaker box and the GFCI breakers). Extended Stay does not honor confirmed reservation Booked a single night stay for July 19 through Hotels.com on May 16 and received a confirmation number. On July 17 at 3 pm, literally 48 hours prior to our check in, Extended Stay called and notified us that the property was overbooked and they were moving us to an alternate property 8 miles away. No blankets, beds very hard, breakfast was granola bars and warm lemon water. Less than clean.

I was not happy at all with this booking! The Extended Stay I booked had a plumbing issue and I was moved further from the venue I was attending to another Extended stay. I booked two rooms with two double beds however, the rooms I was moved to each had one double bed. I did not find this out until after I checked in and walked in my room. The receptionist told me that there nothing she could do and was unwilling to help, no more rooms, no roll away, nothing. I asked to see a manager about the situation and there was none.
