In front of every door to my room which was the last room the carpet looked filthy and in front of all the dogs a distinct dog urine odor

When I walked to my room the door was not properly shut and looked like it had been forced in. I brought this unsettling observation to the front desk I was dismissed and told that “This room just had a door that sticks. “Who ever was last in there must not have shut it”. Property was very old and dated. We decided after a few minutes to not even check in. There was a very dangerous looking person trying to check in being told they weren’t allowed to come back because of previous incident. Overall vibe was just not good. Person at the front desk handled the situation very well and was courteous, but we just did not feel safe in the property

My flight was supposed to land at 10:40 pm. Instead it was delayed a couple hours and I didn’t get to the hotel until after 3 am. I had to call on the emergency phone to get service and into the building. The front desk agent claimed I didn’t have a reservation and tried to turn me away. I told him I have text and email confirmation of my reservation. He said they purge all reservations at 12 am and charge you as a no show. I asked did they send my money back. He said no. We would not choose this property again The property is in serious need of a refresh. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The panel covering the elevator circuitry was extremely loose and only held on by one screw. There was a serious lack of water pressure in the shower. This was very much a low frills motel experience with an elevated price due to extended stay amenities(cooktop, sink and full size refrigerator).
