Good cost-effective business hotel This is a good business hotel, for those who don't want to pay the high rates at the neighboring Marriott. Good Wifi, but no breakfast (as is normal for this chain). Reasonably clean, but it isn't a brand new hotel, so there is a little wear and tear.

Great Location for Nelson and Kemper Galleries! The title pretty much encapsulates what you get: short (I mean short!) walks to the Kemper Museum of Modern Art and the world class Nelson Atkins Museum. An easy walk to the Country Club Plaza and Winsteads (a KC old style drive-in restaurant). A slightly longer walk to Andre's which makes Swiss chocolate, pastries and serves wonderful lunches on premises. The Westport area is a longer walk, but doable. The hotel was clean, no problem with that. Our trip was great because we went to see the Trans Siaberian Orchestra, with another couple. Its was a great experience. But I do feel our stay with your hotel could have been a little better, and that breakfast on the go was not what I expected.

Did not get the type of room I expected, so changing rooms was necessary. Continental breakfast skimpy and no daily room service. Will not use again.
Excellent location, mediocre service Didn't know we di get housekeeping unless you stayed 7+ days!! I think that's ridiculous. Awesome location- you can walk/eat/shop 5 mins away in The Plaza

Weekend trip The hotel was ok but not totally what we expected. The information said that they had a continental breakfast but it was just coffee, small cereal bars and small store bought muffins and no other beverages. It was referred to by the staff as the coffee bar and the website with Travelocity has it referenced as a continental breakfast. Nice hotel I wish there would have been a blow dryer and coffee pot in the room. However the front desk nicely told me that they had one at the front desk and I had to go down and pick it up.
