It's a bad scene at the Lenexa Extended Stay on 87th. I arrived to my room with a layer of dust on everything. The previous guest's soap bar had petrified in the shower dish. It looked like the room hadn't been opened since 2020 hit and the single chair was smudged with oil, dirt and cigarette burns. On the second day of my stay, the water was turned off for 2 hours in the afternoon. That night, an addled roach crawled up my leg as I sat on the toilet. Don’t waste money here filthy room Arrived after midnight from out of town. The room not only dirty but I’d say just filthy. Mud on floor, trash on floor, dead bug in drawer, trash in other drawers, stained towels, and sheets. Refrigerator still had bunch of food left in it . Very obviously had not been cleaned horrible.

The fridge and freezer both had areas of liquid food that had not been cleaned up. The room phone was filthy. Only 1 small wastebasket. No coffee pot. You have to check out at front desk any dishes, glassware or cooking utencils. No breakfast provided. It was advertised as breakfast included. Not even any coffee provided in the lobby. Noted a sack of garbage by the the stairway when we arrived and still there when we left
