This hotel is in the running for the worst place we have ever stayed. The door handle was loose and you needed put the key card in and lift the handle hard (several times) just to get the door open. You needed to lift the bathroom door to get it to close. The shower was so bad that we didn't use it. The halls were dirty and the stair cases had what appeared to be either ceiling or wall debris. We have stayed at Extended Stay America hotels before and have always been happy but this location is old and obviously not maintaine... read more

HUGE DISSAPOINTMENT--IF NOT A SMOKER, DON'T STAY TO ENTER the hotel you most likely will walk through cigarette smoke. Smokers were directly across from entrance door at the circular drive. There was no way to avoid it. When I checked in, I was given the room key inside a folded key holder. The clerk did not explain to me that there was no silverware, dishes, glasses, etc. in the room. I didn't read the folded key holder (which did have the info) as generally I just toss those in my bag and don't look at them. The doorhandle... read more

Front desk was really nice. The room itself was dirty. There were visible black hairs on the hand towel. There was long black hairs in the kitchen sink. There was still toothpaste left in the bathroom sink. The hotel says no smoking but the interior smells strongly of smoke and just an odd smell. The room itself smelled horrible. It is a cheaper option in Overland Park but I will not be staying here again.

REMEMBER: You get what you pay for The bathroom wasn’t too clean, the fridge and microwave were dirty, the sheet had holes in them, and the carpet had red stains on them.

Felt unsafe, uncomfortable bed, kitchen with not even one utensil or coffee maker. Every tome I went to the front desk, the clerk was outside on her cell phone or gabbing with rough looking guys
