There were empty liquor bottles and all sort of other paraphernalia littered around the grounds. The rooms had an odor, but they were clean. The hallway carpet was stained throughout. The staff was friendly, but couldn't make up for the condition of the property.

Horrible pot smell for smoke-free Horrible marajuana / hemp smell outside and throughout hotel. This was marketed as a non-smoking hotel.

Ok if you’re looking for a place to smoke weed. This hotel is more of a flophouse. It’s unfortunately not very clean or comfortable. And the whole building wreaks of marijuana smoke. The bed is basically a Hollywood frame with a mattress on it. There were no curtains on the window but a discolored spot with holes in the wall where they once were. The outside of the building was nice and the front desk area was clean. The elevator looked like the was falling apart. When we stepped off the elevator, there were roaches on the wall. The hallway was very dingy. The room itself was overall nice but floors were gross. You could see the foot and shoe prints on the floor. The side table was falling apart as the drawer was falling out the bottom. The air conditioner worked well and the staff was nice. Not sure we would stay here again.

After working all day and driving to KC the Hotel canceled my reservation!!! I really hate booking with Expedia

The staff was rude upon arrival. Our room was dirty and had a layer of grime on everything. The for had not been vacuumed prior to our arrival. (We have an 8 month old baby crawling on the floors)When this was brought up to staff we were asked if we wanted to check out. Later we found roaches in our room and the staffs response was to hand my husband an entire bottle of the poison their maintenance person should use and send him back to our room to deal with the bugs ourselves.
