Yikes! There weren't many hotels left in Lubbock for parent weekend so I booked here. Big mistake. The smell in the halls is rank like musty carpet and cafeteria food. The rooms are outdated and not stocked with anything other than towels. I had to ask for a hair dryer. There was no coffee pot in the room or in the lobby. I went by the front desk several times and it was not staffed. The bed was hard and noisy with every toss and turn. Pillows were not comfortable. Just not pleasant at all.

First, we arrived late (about 8PM) and were given a room that had not yet been cleaned! When check in begins at 3:00 PM you would certainly expect that your room would be clean by 8:00 PM. Second, they clearly do not use the $50 deposit they require for possible damages. The flooring was damaged in several places, the drawer in the dresser would not shut, the table had what appeared to have had cuts from a saw. Unsatisfactory stay. Very disappointed. This hotel was very uncomfortable in its current status. The floors were dirty, the sheets were old/thin and the bathroom craftsmanship was awful. The toilet had been replaced recently and the floor wasn’t cleaned up around it. The overall condition of the hotel was dirty and not acceptable for the price they were charging. I wouldn’t stay at a location like this again if it was free!

Dirty motel with everything broken This was quite possibly the worst (dirty, broken) motel I've ever stayed in. The first room they offered me had no working lamp (broken switch), and the floor was dirty and sticky. There were cigarette butts in the broken, dirty window (despite being a non-smoking hotel). The second room had 2 of the 4 lamps working, but the kitchen cabinet was damaged, the carpet was stained in several places and the shower was filthy. Oh NO! I recently stayed and had the worst experience. The room was not clean but that’s not the big issue. I noticed an odder in the bedding so I requested new ones. They did give me new ones but I had to replace them. When I removed the sheets there was unwashed blood on the mattress cover. That is so unsanitary. They provided me with a new one and I replaced it my self. I heard the attendant tell someone on the phone that they were short staffed but this was something that should not have happened. Lubbock Getaway I asked to have any early check in with no friendly greeting at the desk. I asked to use the bathroom , the response I got from Margot/receptionist was a snarky attitude (we don’t have public restrooms). She does not belong at the front desk with that attitude. Finally checked in at 3pm, the tub was filthy with caked on soap scum, water fixtures were nasty dirty: build up with white gunk, no shampoo/conditioner, blow drier was not available but was stated in description. This place is a dump. No lampshades on lights beside bed. Water pooled in front of refrigerator. Reeks of smoke.

It was low budget and not even worth how much I paid and it was cheap
