Tired The front desk staff were pleasant. The lobby area was rundown. The 2 seats in the lobby both had holes. The fitted sheet on my bed was inside out, there was dust and dirt on the floor where the open doors would keep you from seeing it and long black hairs in the shower. All points to cleaning staff that just doesn’t care. The ventilation for the kitchen area must not work well as the entire hotel reeked if onions that someone was cooking every day.

$50 hotel charging $100 rates The building immediately reminded me of an old college dorm. The hallways were very narrow and dark. The “lobby” is more of a security check in. Key cards don’t work on the outer side entrances to the building. People in wheelchairs sitting in the middle of the driveway smoking. The front desk person was either VERY nosy or moonlights as a private investigator. Took an extra long shower to scrub any bugs off of me in the morning, yet still felt icky.

DONT STAY HERE IF YOU CAN AVOID IT Upon arrival we were greeted by a less than welcoming receptionist. When we walked into the room we were hit with an overwhelming stench of burnt sugar, plastic or some sort of odd chemical like antifreeze or something of the sort. When I notified the front desk we were informed maintenance would look at it in the morning. Although it was extremely cold out we were forced to open the windows which would only open about 3 inches. When we turned on the heat it smelled like burnt hair and lubr... read more

Toxic Smell The ok, but the toxic smell in the hallway was very bad. The staff offered no remedy for the problem, only an explanation that the carpets had just been installed. The smell was better the last day of our stay so the explanation was probably accurate. I wrote a personal email to the manager and again was only offered an explanation as to why there was a toxic smell on our floor. The room was ok or we would have had to leave and stay somewhere else. The explanation fell short of us being made whole. After I asked ... read more

When I arrived, I mentioned that I had paid for my room the previous night on Hotels.com. Without even looking, she said that my room was not ready and told me to have a seat. She then proceeded to give 3 other people that walked in after I did their room keys. Finally someone else helped. Not inclined to go here again.

Foul odor throughout room and floor When we walked into the room, I was overwhelmed with a foul odor. The toilet kept running after one use. I opened the back of the toilet to see what was wrong and saw a TOWEL wrapped inside to soak up the water. This was the cause of the smell throughout the room. Completely unsanitary and unacceptable.

Waited 10 minutes at front desk to check in. I ended up phoning the reception. Phone was forwarded to receptionists phone whom joined me "right after I've finished my cigarette break"
