Fleeced in Newark DE The floor had peanut shells on it. The room had no utensils or appliances, When I tried to call the front desk to ask for ice, the phone did not work. I had to walk to the Front Desk. Where I was told to get in the car and go down the street to WaWa and get ice there because there was none in the hotel. Very poor value for $130.00 per night. DON'T STAY HERE !!!!!

They didn’t have my room available and they didn’t tell me this until after they finished processing all of my information and handed me the keys instead of asking if I was still interested. I asked for late check out and they called me in the morning to remind me about check out at 11 even though I asked for late check out and it was approved… just not a smooth stay.

Unattended Location This hotel seems to have been forgotten by the management. It looked rundown, the landscaping was not kept up and the building didn't look welcoming. The appliances were outdated and the room was not clean. The keycard didn't always work. It was like Extended Stay America was trying to close or liquidate this location.

Disgusting!! DISGUSTING!!!! This is not a hotel it’s a dump! It must have been move out day at the halfway house, people hanging around the doors with their worldly belongings when we arrived in plastic shopping bags. Check in person was rude, acted like we were bothering her. The room smelled like someone smoked in it for 30 years with the windows closed. Burn marks on the carpet, walls and counters. The place is horrible, it felt like I was in a halfway house. The building is dark and dirty and smells like stale smoke
