We got to the hotel at midnight and the we found an employee who appeared to be a guest at first by his unprofessional appearance with a durag on his head and a T-shirt. He informed us that there was no rooms available and it was because Expedia screwed us because we booked through a 3rd party site. No resolution was provided. We hit the road at 1230 to try to find a decent night's stay. We then called Expedia who processed a refund. I will see if that works. Terrible experience.

The stay started off badly since the person who checked us in was very unfriendly. The room smelled like cooking meat and a check of the kitchen fan filter showed it covered with old grease. There were only 3 pillows for 2 people. Breakfast was a joke - they shouldn't be allowed to advertise as "breakfast included". Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere - we've spent the same on rooms in Fairfield and Milford and they were much nicer, in hotels with better facilities and a decent breakfast.

Very run-down. Lobby was dirty, small and old.

We checked and felt unsafe from the beginning. The bathroom light didn’t work and we just felt unsafe overall. We checked out and went to a different hotel.

The Continental Breakfast was a joke. Pre packaged muffins, granola bars and oatmeal. There was no place to sit. For 2 days there wasn't coffee ready at 8 a.m. and they had no cream for the coffee when there was cofffee.
