I purchased cancellation insurance and was still charged for cancelling AND they didn't have room for me so were sending me to another hotel. I never got confirmation from the other hotel, so I shouldn't be charged. I'm disappointed with both EXpedia AND Extended STay America.
Never again! I usually try to stay at extended stay no matter what area I travel to. This particular location was just terrible. Front desk woman was so unprofessional and rude and was on a personal call cussing and compalaining about guests. The room was dirty the bathroom sink had hair in it , as did the shower which also had some kind of nasty substance in it. The comforter had what looked like a blood stain. Disapppinting experience... Upon arrival we were informed that the hotel was overbooked. Being 5 months pregnant & with a 2.5 year old toddler, it was indeed very disappointing. We have stayed with Extended Stay earlier but never experienced this before.

Personally the smell of smoke really bothers me. When the time we walked into the building I had a hard time breathing. Our room was a "non-smoking room" but it smelled like someone had just smoked 2 packs in there. Then when you turned on the fan in the bathroom the entire room filled with a smoke smell. We waited 10 minutes to check out in the morning because the hotel staff was helping someone else.

Property showing its age. Handle would not stay on shower faucet. Asked for non-smoking room- room smelled of cigarettes.

I had an awful experience with this hotel. Their key cards didn't work properly (I changed cards 3 times), the rooms were unclean (I changed rooms twice), the fire alarm sounded in the middle of the night and the alarm system was faulty so the fire department was not notified until over one hour later when the hotel staff called them directly. Don’t do it! Room and bath were dirty, hallways were dirty, elevator was scary. The trash can outside main entrance was overflowing with empty beer cans. Bed was uncomfortable. I didn’t even try the breakfast—-I got out of there! Very disappointed because I’d stayed here two years ago and it was nice then. Only plus was the desk clerks were pleasant.
