Overbooked and the shower drains problem, rooms are bad

The room was supposed to be a non smoking room but it smelled like someone just finished smoking in it! Was told room used to be a non smoking room but was recently repainted, but did not seem like it

The parking lot was closed when I arrived so I had to find on Street parking. The building was not very clean. The floors needed mopped and the walls needed washed. Seems to cater to drunks and druggies. Both were hanging around and in the building my entire stay. Unfortunately, I held the door open for man that was hammered beyond reason that wanted to pick fights with anyone he saw. The room was not very clean. The bathroom had other people's hair all over. I stay here a lot and I can tell you this hotel is starting to suck rooms are looking dirty and dingy. I’m in my room and I get a message that there’s a disturbance in my car so I walk out there and my car is being towed. No warning no nothing. One guy out there says hey they’re just moving it. Not a safe place! We had booked a King room on the websight and ended up with a double room as our room had been given to someone else on arrival. We arrived near midnight because we had been traveling and there was only one attendant at night. Sorry, I'm sure other people may have had better experiences here than we did, but overall, this hotel was the worst in the series of hotels that we stayed at on our trip. To begin with, more than half of the parking lot was roped off for re-paving, so parking was a hassle. The floor in our room was a sticky mess. The AC unit was far too loud, and straight out of an 80's motel.
