Not a pleasant stay: 1. We arrived at around 7 pm no one was at the front desk and there was no way to ring a bell so we had to yell “Hello”! 2. The check-in process was long and we didn’t get all of our questions answered, such as “which direction is the room”— because by the time we gathered our belongings the desk clerk was gone. 3. HORRIBLE. The Extended Stay hotel we chose on Miami blvd switched us to another on slater ave , supposedly due to a fire that created a power issue. The alternate hotel was under renovation, there was no staff available after 9 pm until 10 am the next morning, no hair dryer was available, the place was filthy, no breakfast or gym were available (which were both advertised). Absolutely MISERABLE.

Upon arrival I was misinformed that a pet fee would be charged for each pet although they state pet friendly on the website. However, when booking through expedia, there was no mention of it. Very displeased with Expedia for not posting this during booking. The agent at the desk when I pushed back on the charges was very rude and ignorant. This hotel has gone down. They didn’t even have no wash cloths, the bathroom was dirty, there were tools left in the room, it seemed as though someone was in the room right before I walked in.

I suggest they need to fumigate the smell of the walkway and to stop people from smoking inside the room. Hallway is very disgusting . I felt like I live in a homeless shelter . It’s a decent price but the hotel is not well kept . Might as well close the hotel and remodel it. I end up staying only for a day and refunded the remaining days I was there. Never again. I can’t even breath. the smell of cigarettes and it’s a rotten saliva . Please clean and take care of this hotel.
