Very basic hotel. The room was clean but sparse. We were first given a handicapped room with low sink and closet. There was an unpleasant odor in the room so we asked to switch. When we arrived in the new room we failed to notice that the bed was only a double. Definitely noticed when we went to bed! We are used to a king size and had trouble negotiating Teflon Barrie bed all night. We found out the next morning that my mother who had a room to herself was given one with 2 beds. Great choice We stayed for two nights and it’s a very clean hotel in a good location. There’s easy access to the freeway, downtown, food, grocery store, liquor store, etc. Check in was seamless and the clerk was beyond friendly, which is nice and even gave us a call after check in to ensure we were satisfied with the room! I didn’t like having to carry my dishes to my room, but that is not a deterrent for me; I would definitely stay here again. I’m shocked that this location only shows 2.5 stars..should be higher.

I was not pleased with my stay. The elevator was dirty and reeked of urine. My bed had someone else's hair in it as well as ashes. It was a smoking section but that does not mean it does not need to be clean. The evening staff did not resolve the elevator problem when I mentioned it to her and i changed my own sheets before going to bed. The morning staff heard me out and I appreciated that at least.
